Announcements of the Embassy

Dear All,

We would like to announce that as of May 4, 2020, the Embassy of Lebanon in Athens has resumed its activities and has been open to the public, following the gradual lifting of lockdown restrictions imposed by the Greek Government and in light of the guidelines related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This Embassy is now operating, as follows:

• Only applicants with pre-arranged telephone appointments will be able to enter the premises of the Embassy.

• Wearing a mask is obligatory to enter the Embassy. Please bring a mask with you, it will not be provided at the venue.  Moreover, the hand sanitizer dispenser is available at the entrance; you are kindly requested to sanitize your hands. All applicants, are expected to observe social distancing rules.

• The maximum number of applicants in the premises of the Embassy cannot exceed (2) people at any given time.

• Please consider the possibility of sending your formality by mail or post.

• These measures for resuming consular services are subject to change, depending on the spread of the pandemic and following directives from either the Greek and Lebanese competent authorities.

We call on all our applicants to show their understanding and observe responsible behaviour, in order to safeguard their own health and the health of the staff of the Embassy as well.
